About Us

Lamp-Post Cycles is a community-oriented bicycle shop owned and operated by Brandon and Kimberly Reagor in Livingston, MT.

Cycling is a family affair for the Reagors. Whether it’s a breezy ride through the rolling foothills of Montana, touring around downtown Livingston, a fist-clenching descent down a Big Sky trail in the summer, some jump practice at our nearby park, or fat-biking in the off season, our family loves to see God’s beautiful world from a bike. In addition to growing up in a family who loved biking, Brandon’s bicycle maintenance and repair roots go all the way back to a repair shop owned and operated by his great-grandfather in Jacksonville, FL.

Community focus is in our family roots as well. The Reagor family has a legacy of dedication to our communities, serving as police officers, firefighters, and church ministers.

We’re excited to continue this legacy of community focus and cycles in the Livingston community we now call home. We look forward to serving you and helping you see a better world through cycling.

Why the Lamp-Post?

When our kids were younger, one of our favorite evening rituals was reading C. S. Lewis’s Chronicles of Narnia series together as a family. Brandon even tried to channel his best British accent to help immerse the kids in the stories.

If you’ve read The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, you know that a lamp-post marks the place of transition between the children’s home and the world of Narnia. It lights the way between two worlds, and, as the story progresses, the new world of Narnia helps the characters in the story see and experience their old self and their old world in a true and better way.

We hope that Lamp-Post Cycles can be one illuminating way to help our community imagine and see a better version of the world through the sense of adventure, connection, and place that cycling can offer.
